ISCA INSPIRES STUDENTS TO REACH NEW HEIGHTS: PHOEBE JOSLIN’S STORY

For Phoebe Joslin, sport has always been at the heart of her life. At the 2026 ICMS Scholarship Ceremony, Phoebe shared how her experience at the International Sport College Australia (ISCA) has helped her grow as a student, an athlete, and a future leader in the sports industry.
Growing up in North Epping, Phoebe spent years playing soccer and touch football.
“Sport has always been the centre of my life,” she said. “It’s where I’ve grown, where I’ve been challenged, and where I’ve found my purpose.”
Like many young athletes, Phoebe faced the challenges of balancing her passion for sport with the demands of study and life.
“Balancing studies with training, managing fatigue, and trying to figure out what my future in sport could look like beyond just being on the field wasn’t always easy,” she explained.
“There were times I questioned whether I could keep all the pieces together.”
Thriving at ISCA
Phoebe described how the supportive environment, hands-on learning, and opportunities to explore the high-performance world behind the scenes have shaped her vision for the future.
“My experience at ISCA so far has been incredible,” she said.
“Being surrounded by people who live and breathe sport the same way I do has pushed me to grow in ways I didn’t expect.
“The learning environment, the support from staff, and the opportunities to understand the high-performance world behind the scenes have already shaped the future I see for myself.”
Phoebe highlighted how ISCA has helped her focus on becoming the best version of herself, not just as an athlete but as a student and a future leader in the sports industry.
“This year will be a turning point for me personally and professionally,” she said.
A Message of Gratitude and Encouragement
Phoebe thanked the ISCA and ICMS community as well as the corporate partners who support its students.
“Your investment doesn’t just change someone’s education,” she said.
“It changes their belief in what is possible.”
She also encouraged her fellow students to embrace the opportunities in front of them.
“Keep backing yourself,” she said. “Opportunities like this can take you further than you can imagine.”
